What is The Primordial Startup?

Along with my two co-founders, I am a founder of Fraction, a mortgage fintech startup. We’ve raised venture funding up to the Series A stage, operated in Canada and the United States (then retreated back to just Canada), originated hundreds of millions of dollars in mortgages, grown a small team, and more.

I started The Primordial Startup because there’s lots of really great advice about how to start a SaaS startup, but there is a dearth of information online about how to start and run a capital-intensive fintech company. I hope to correct that.

What I write here will be somewhat strategic, mostly tactical, occasionally correct, and, if we are both lucky, something to inspire you to adapt for your own endeavours.
